Know Before You Go Tips for Visiting Mexico During Spring Break
There are plenty of options. Either you spend your vacation close to the crowds or you get to know better and ahead rather than later.
Choose your Hotel wisely
If partying with college students is not what you’re looking for in your spring break experience, you may want to avoid the more obvious resort destinations such as Cancún or Cabo. For a slice of culture and history, instead consider the charming pueblos mágicos (literally, “magic towns”) or—for a more fast-paced multisensory experience—Mexico City. If you still want quality beach time, but without the crowds, look into visiting the coast of Oaxaca or Riviera Nayarit.

Leave the beach as you found it … Please
Mexico is blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Help them stay that way. Keep the beaches clean by picking up your plastic cups and taking them back to the resort bar, depositing your cans in recycling facilities, and using reusable bags and containers where possible. We don’t need any more plastic in the ocean than there is already.
